Calgary's Kayla Williams infuses a vibrant and refreshing twist into the smooth, feel-good stylings of "yacht pop" with her debut EP RETRODELIA. Expect a lively show filled with powerful vocals, playful horns, funky hooks, and bass-driven grooves. RETRODELIA pays a glittery tribute to the soft '70s throwback era with a fearless, feminine spirit. On June 2nd, at Bo's Bar & Stage in Red Deer, Kayla will be backed by a full nine-piece band, including Calgary favorites Kate Stevens, Emily Slainey, Cam Buie, André Wickenheiser, and Mark Dejong alongside her band The Yacht Daddies- Melody Stang, Craig Gomez and Ryan Marchant. Nêhiyaw singer-songwriter Wyatt C. Louis will be opening the night's event.

Heath West and JUNO award-winning Spencer Cheyne produced Williams' new four-song EP, creating a soulful and dynamic contemporary production. Her songs inject old soul wisdom into the male-dominated yacht-rock genre, resulting in a poppy punch that is sure to catch the attention of music lovers everywhere.
